Xu Sun received the B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees from School of Automation, Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. He was a research assistant with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China, from 2016 to 2017. He was a Engineer with CVTE Research, Guangzhou Shiyuan Electronics Co. Ltd., Guangzhou, China, from 2017 to 2018. He was a senior engineer with intelligent health unit, Baidu Inc., Beijing, China, from 2017 to 2021. He was a senior research with Tencent Jarvis Lab, Tencent, Shenzhen, China, from 2021 to 2022. He is currently a principal engineer with Pazhou Lab, Guangzhou, China. His research interests include medical image analysis, statistical signal processing, statistical learning theory and intelligent systems.
